Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِمَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مُؤْمِنٌ إِلا وأَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِهِ، فَمَنْ تَرَ
كَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا، فَلْأُدْعَ لَهُ، فَأَنَا مَوْلَاهُ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا، فَلِعَصَبَتِهِ مَنْ كَانَ ". قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ : ضَيَاعًا : يَعْنِي : عِيَالًا. وَقَالَ : فَلْأُدْعَ لَهُ، يَعْنِي : ادْعُونِي لَهُ أَقْضِ عَنْهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, there is no believer on earth except that I am the closest person to him. Whoever leaves behind a debt or dependants, let him call on me, for I am his patron. And whoever leaves behind wealth, that goes to his agnate relatives whoever they may be.'
