Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ، كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ إِذَا أَدْرَكْتَ أُمَرَ
اءَ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا؟ قُلْتُ : مَا تَأْمُرُنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ :" صَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا، وَاجْعَلْ صَلَاتَكَ مَعَهُمْ نَافِلَةً ". قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : ابْنُ الصَّامِتِ هُوَ : ابْنُ أَخِي أَبِي ذَرٍّ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'O Abu Dharr, what will you do when you encounter rulers who delay the prayer from its proper time? I said: 'What do you command me, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Pray the prayer at its proper time, and make your prayer with them a supererogatory prayer.''
