English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite al-Fatiha and two surahs in the first two rak'ahs of Dhuhr, and al-Fatiha in the last two; he used to let them hear a verse sometimes, and he made the first rak'ah longer than the second.
