حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" لَوْ حَبَسَ اللَّهُ الْقَطْرَ عَن
ْ أُمَّتِي عَشْرَ سِنِينَ، ثُمَّ أُنْزِلَ، لَأَصْبَحَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي بِهَا كَافِرِينَ يَقُولُونَ : هُوَ بِنَوْءِ مِجْدَحٍ ". يقَالَ : الْمِجْدَحُ كَوْكَبٌ. يُقَالُ لَهُ : الدَّبَرَانُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Zaid ibn Khalid al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ☯ led the Fajr prayer after a night of rain, then said: 'This morning some of My servants awoke as believers in Me and some as disbelievers. Those who said the rain came by Allah's grace and mercy believe in Me and disbelieve in the stars. Those who said it rained because of a certain star disbelieve in Me and believe in the stars.'
