Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ :

ذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ قَوْلُ مَنْ يَقُولُ فِي الْحَمِيلِ، فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ، وَقَالَ :" قَدْ تَوَارَثَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ، وَالْأَنْصَارُ بِنَسَبِهِمْ الَّذِي كَانَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ "
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Awn, from Muhammad (ibn Sirin), that there was mention in his presence of those who hold a view about the foundling (hamil). He objected to it and said: 'The Muhajirun and the Ansar used to inherit from each other based on their lineage that existed in the pre-Islamic era.'
