حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ

، قَالَ :" مِيرَاثُهُ لِلَّذِي أَمْسَكَهُ. وقال قَتَادَةُ : هُوَ لِلْمُعْتِقِ كُلُّهُ، وَثَمَنُهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَيَقُولُهُ أَهْلُ الْكُوفَةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from al-Sha'bi that he said: Shurayh ruled that if a man frees half of a slave, the walaa' for the entire slave belongs entirely to him.
