ْشَرٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ :" الْوَلَاءُ لُحْمَةٌ كَلُحْمَةِ النَّسَبِ، لَا يُبَاعُ وَلَا يُوهَبُ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibrahim that he said: 'Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Walaa' is a bond like the bond of lineage — it may not be sold and may not be gifted."
