حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنْبَأَنَا مَنْصُورٌ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ :" إِذَا أَوْصَى الرَّجُلُ إِلَى الرَّجُلِ وَهُوَ غَائِبٌ، فَلْيَقْبَلْ وَصِيَّتَهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ حَاضِرًا، فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ : إِنْ شَاءَ، قَبِلَ، وَإِنْ شَاء، َتَرَكَ "
English Translation
It was narrated from al-Hasan that he used to say: "If a man appoints another as executor while that person is absent, the absent person should accept the executorship. If he is present, he has the choice — he may accept it or decline."
