Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ شعبة ، عَنْ أَبِي

Body (Matn)

مَعْشَرٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ :" إِذَا أَوْصَى الرَّجُلُ لِإِنْسَانٍ، وَهُوَ غَائِبٌ، وَكَانَ مَيِّتًا، وَهُوَ لَا يَدْرِي، فَهِيَ رَاجِعَةٌ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibrahim that he said: "If a man designates another as beneficiary of his bequest while that person is absent, and the person has died without his knowledge, the bequest reverts (to the estate)."
