Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ هُوَ ابْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ مُوسَى هُوَ ابْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ : " أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ : إِنَّ رَجُلًا أَوْصَى
إِلَيَّ وَجَعَلَ نَاقَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، وَلَيْسَ هَذَا زَمَانًا يُخْرَجُ إِلَى الْغَزْوِ، فَأَحْمِلُ عَلَيْهَا فِي الْحَجِّ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ :الْحَجُّ وَالْعُمْرَةُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Nafi' that a man came to Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "A man appointed me as executor and designated a camel for the cause of Allah, but this is not a time when people go out for military campaigns — may I use it for carrying pilgrims to Hajj?" Ibn 'Umar said: "Hajj and 'Umra are in the cause of Allah."
