Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا الْأَعْمَش

ُ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ :" إِنَّ هَذَا الصِّرَاطَ مُحْتَضَرٌ، تَحْضُرُهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ يُنَادُونَ : يَا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ، هَذَا الطَّرِيقُ، فَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ، فَإِنَّ حَبْلَ اللَّهِ الْقُرْآنُ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Wa'il that 'Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him) said: "This path (sirat) is attended — the devils are upon it calling out: 'O servants of Allah, this is the way!' So hold fast to the rope of Allah, for the rope of Allah is the Quran."
