أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الرِّفَاعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ الْجُعْفِيُّ ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ الزَّيَّاتِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُخْتَارِ الطَّائِيِّ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَخِي الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَإِذَا أُنَاسٌ يَخُوضُونَ فِي أَحَادِيثَ، فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَلِيٍّ ، فَقُلْتُ : أَلَا تَرَى أَنَّ أُنَاسًا يَخُوضُونَ فِي الْأَحَادِيثِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ؟ فَقَالَ : قَدْ فَعَلُوهَا؟ قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ، قَالَ : أَمَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ :" سَتَكُونُ فِتَنٌ "، قُلْتُ : وَمَا الْمَخْرَجُ مِنْهَا؟ قَالَ : كِتَابُ اللَّهِ، كِتَابُ اللَّهِ فِيهِ نَبَأُ مَا قَبْلَكُمْ، وَخَبَرُ مَا بَعْدَكُمْ، وَحُكْمُ مَا بَيْنَكُمْ، هُوَ الْفَصْلُ لَيْسَ بِالْهَزْلِ، هُوَ الَّذِي مَنْ تَرَكَهُ مِنْ جَبَّارٍ، قَصَمَهُ اللَّهُ، وَمَنْ ا
بْتَغَى الْهُدَى فِي غَيْرِهِ، أَضَلَّهُ اللَّهُ، فَهُوَ حَبْلُ اللَّهِ الْمَتِينُ، وَهُوَ الذِّكْرُ الْحَكِيمُ، وَهُوَ الصِّرَاطُ الْمُسْتَقِيمُ، وَهُوَ الَّذِي لَا تَزِيغُ بِهِ الْأَهْوَاءُ، وَلَا تَلْتَبِسُ بِهِ الْأَلْسِنَةُ، وَلَا يَشْبَعُ مِنْهُ الْعُلَمَاءُ، وَلَا يَخْلَقُ عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الرَّدِّ، وَلَا تَنْقَضِي عَجَائِبُهُ، وَهُوَ الَّذِي لَمْ يَنْتَهِ الْجِنُّ إِذْ سَمِعَتْهُ أَنْ قَالُوا : # إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْءَانًا عَجَبًا سورة الجن آية 1 #، هُوَ الَّذِي مَنْ قَالَ بِهِ صَدَقَ، وَمَنْ حَكَمَ بِهِ عَدَلَ، وَمَنْ عَمِلَ بِهِ أُجِرَ، وَمَنْ دَعَا إِلَيْهِ هُدِيَ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ "خُذْهَا إِلَيْكَ يَا أَعْوَرُ

English Translation
It was narrated from al-Harith that he said: I entered the mosque and saw people engaged in discussion. I went to 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "Do you not see that people are indulging in discussions in the mosque?" He said: "Have they really done this?" I said: "Yes." He said: "Know that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Trials will come.' I asked: 'What is the way out of them?' He said: 'The Book of Allah — the Book of Allah, in it is the news of what came before you, the report of what comes after you, and the ruling on what is between you. It is the decisive word, not a jest. Whoever among the oppressors abandons it, Allah will break him. Whoever seeks guidance in other than it, Allah will lead him astray. It is the strong rope of Allah, the wise remembrance, and the straight path. Desires do not deviate through it, tongues do not become confused by it, scholars never tire of it, it does not wear out through much repetition, and its wonders never cease. It is what the jinn, upon hearing it, could not refrain from saying: {Indeed, we have heard a wondrous Quran} (Quran 72:1). Whoever speaks according to it speaks the truth, whoever judges by it is just, whoever acts by it is rewarded, and whoever calls to it is guided to a straight path.' Take it with you, O blind one."
