Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ عِيسَى ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَا
لَ :" مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَتَعَلَّمُ الْقُرْآنَ ثُمَّ يَنْسَاهُ، إِلَّا لَقِيَ اللَّهَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُوَ أَجْذَمُ "، قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : عِيسَى وهُوَ ابْنُ فَائِدٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from Sa'd ibn 'Ubada (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Any man who learns the Quran and then forgets it will meet Allah on the Day of Resurrection as one mutilated." Abu Muhammad (al-Darimi) said: "'Isa (in the chain) is Ibn Fa'id."
