English Translation
It was narrated from Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The Quran will become worn away in the hearts of some people just as a garment wears out and disintegrates. They recite it without finding any appetite or delight in it. They wear the skins of sheep over the hearts of wolves — their deeds are greed unmixed with fear. If they fall short, they say: 'We will reach it eventually.' If they do wrong, they say: 'We will be forgiven — for we do not associate partners with Allah.'"
