English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ي said on the Day of the Conquest: 'This land is sacred. Its plants should not be cut and its trees should not be felled. Whoever finds something, let him announce it for a year. Its game should not be frightened away, and its lost property should not be picked up except by one who announces it.'
