أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ قُسَيْطٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ

عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْيُسْتَمْتَعَ بِجُلُودِ الْمَيْتَةِ إِذَا دُبِغَتْ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about what should be offered as a sacrifice. He said: 'That which is free of defect: neither lame, blind, one-eyed, old, nor extremely thin.'
