Hadith #1313
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُسْرٍ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ يَسِيرَةٌ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبِي لِأُمِّي : لَوْ صَنَعْتِ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَعَامًا؟ فَصَنَعَتْ ثَرِيدَةً، وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ يُقْلِلُ، فَانْطَلَقَ
أَبِي فَدَعَاهُ، فَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ عَلَى ذِرْوَتِهَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " خُذُوا بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ ". فَأَخَذُوا مِنْ نَوَاحِيهَا، فَلَمَّا طَعِمُوا دَعَا لَهُمْ، فَقَالَ :" اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ وَبَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي رِزْقِهِمْ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Abdullah ibn Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) that his father said to his mother: 'If only you would prepare food for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' So she prepared tharidah and his father went and invited him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his hand on the top of it, then said: 'Take in the name of Allah.' They took from around the edges and ate until they were satisfied.
