حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، . أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، سَوْدَاءَ كَانَتْ تَقُمُّ الْمَسْجِدَ فَف
َقَدَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَسَأَلَ عَنْهَا بَعْدَ أَيَّامٍ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّهَا مَاتَتْ . قَالَ " فَهَلاَّ آذَنْتُمُونِي " . فَأَتَى قَبْرَهَا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا .
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a black woman used to sweep the mosque. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ noticed she was missing and he asked about her after a few days. He was told that she had died. He said:“Why did you not tell me?” Then he went to her grave and offered the funeral prayer for her
