Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَي

Body (Matn)

َّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " إِنَّ النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ " . فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَأَصْحَابُهُ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ . فَصَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ وَتَقَدَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ .

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah:“the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Najashi has died.’ the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his Companions went out to Al-Baqi’, and we lined up in rows behind him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went forward, then he said four Takbir.”
