حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ جَاب

ِرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمِرْتُ بِرَكْعَتَيْ الضُّحَى وَلَمْ تُؤْمَرُوا بِهَا وَأُمِرْتُ بِالْأَضْحَى وَلَمْ تُكْتَبْ

English Translation
Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us, from Jabir, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I was commanded to pray the two rak'ahs of Duha, but you were not commanded to do so.'
