English Translation
Hashim narrated to us, Abu Mu'awiyah, meaning Shayban, narrated to us, from Layth, from 'Abd al-Malik, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek protection for al-Hasan and al-Husayn saying: 'I seek refuge for you both in the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and poisonous creature, and from every envious evil eye.' And he said: 'Your forefather Ibrahim عليه السلام used to seek protection with them for Isma'il and Ishaq.'
