Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْأَعْرَجِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ اخْتَصَمَ رَجُلَانِ فَدَارَتْ الْيَمِ
ينُ عَلَى أَحَدِهِمَا فَحَلَفَ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَا لَهُ عَلَيْهِ حَقٌّ فَنَزَلَ جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ مُرْهُ فَلْيُعْطِهِ حَقَّهُ فَإِنَّ الْحَقَّ قِبَلَهُ وَهُوَ كَاذِبٌ وَكَفَّارَةُ يَمِينِهِ مَعْرِفَتُهُ بِاللَّهِ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ أَوْ شَهَادَتُهُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ

English Translation
Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from 'Ata ibn al-Sa'ib, from Abu Yahya al-A'raj, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما who said: Two men disputed and the oath fell upon one of them. He swore by Allah that there is no deity except Him. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed you have done so. And Allah has forgiven you for your sincerity in saying: There is no deity except Allah.'
