حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَقِتْ فِي الْخَمْرِ حَدًّا قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ شَرِبَ رَجُلٌ فَسَكِرَ فَلُقِيَ يَمِيلُ فِي فَجٍّ فَانْطُلِقَ بِهِ إِلَى ا
لنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَلَمَّا حَاذَى بِدَارِ عَبَّاسٍ انْفَلَتَ فَدَخَلَ عَلَى عَبَّاسٍ فَالْتَزَمَهُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ فَذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَضَحِكَ وَقَالَ قَدْ فَعَلَهَا ثُمَّ لَمْ يَأْمُرْهُمْ فِيهِ بِشَيْءٍ

English Translation
Rawh ibn 'Ubadah narrated to us, Zakariyya narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Dinar narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not fix a specific punishment (hadd) for wine. Ibn 'Abbas said: A man drank wine and became intoxicated. He was found stumbling in an alleyway, so he was brought to the Prophet ﷺ. When he reached the house of al-'Abbas, he slipped away and entered upon al-'Abbas and embraced him. the Prophet ﷺ was told about this, and he laughed and said: 'Did he do that?' And he did not command anything regarding him.
