English Translation

Abu Sa'id narrated to us, 'Umar, meaning Ibn Farrukh, narrated to us, Habib, meaning Ibn al-Zubayr, narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah who said: I saw a man enter the mosque and stand to pray. When he raised his head, he would place his hands on his head. 'Ikrimah said: Whoever is pleased to see the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ should pray like this man. It was 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما. [Meaning he placed his hands on his head between prostrations in the sitting position.]
