حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ

عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَرَفَعَهُ قَالَ مَا كَانَ مِنْ حِلْفٍ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ الْإِسْلَامُ إِلَّا حِدَّةً وَشِدَّةً

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Simak, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما and he attributed it to the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Whatever alliance existed in Jahiliyyah, Islam has only added to its strength and intensity.'
