Isnad Chain
عبد الرزاق
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) that the Prophet ﷺ set out from Madinah in Ramadan with ten thousand Muslims — this was eight and a half years after his arrival in Madinah. He marched with the Muslims toward Makkah, fasting while they also fasted, until he reached al-Kadid — a place between 'Usfan and Qudayd — where he broke his fast and the Muslims broke their fast with him. He did not fast [after that].
