حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَ
ةً رَفَعَتْ صَبِيًّا لَهَا فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ بِمِثْلِهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Kurayb — that a woman held up a child of hers and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, does this [child] have Hajj [recorded for him]?' He said: 'Yes, and you [the mother] will have the reward [for carrying him and performing the rites on his behalf].' [A second chain via Muhammad ibn 'Uqbah via Kurayb from Ibn 'Abbas with the same meaning.]
