English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Salih, the freed slave of al-Taw'amah — that people disputed about whether the Prophet ﷺ was fasting on the day of 'Arafah. Umm al-Fadl [the mother of Ibn 'Abbas] sent [a bowl of] milk to the Prophet ﷺ and he drank it — [thereby confirming he was not fasting on that day].
