حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ حَبْتَرٍ التَّمِيمِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ ا
للَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ وَثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَقَالَ إِذَا جَاءَكَ يَطْلُبُ ثَمَنَ الْكَلْبِ فَامْلَأْ كَفَّيْهِ تُرَابًا

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Qays ibn Habtar al-Tamimi — from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he forbade the price of wine [khamr], the earnings of a prostitute [mahr al-baghiyy], and the price of a dog. He said: 'If someone comes to you demanding the price of a dog, fill both his palms with dust.'
