English Translation
Bahz narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah informed us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas He used to dislike nabidh made from unripe dates (busr) alone, and he would say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the delegation of 'Abd al-Qays from making nabidh in gourds, pitch-coated containers, hollow tree trunks, and green jars. He ordered them to soak dates in water-skins.
