English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abis — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ liked to bring his family out on the day of Eid. He said: 'So we went out. He prayed without adhan or iqamah, then gave a sermon to the men. He then went to the women and gave them a sermon, then commanded them to give in charity. I saw a woman throwing her earrings [tu'ma] and ring to Bilal for charity.'
