حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَعَفَّانُ الْمَعْنَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ أُخْتَ
عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ مَاشِيَةً فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ نَذْرِ أُخْتِكَ لِتَرْكَبْ وَلْتُهْدِ بَدَنَةً

English Translation
'Abd al-Samad and 'Affan narrated to us, with the same meaning, they said: Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) that the sister of 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir vowed to perform Hajj walking. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Indeed, Allah has no need for your sister's walking. Let her ride and offer a sacrificial animal (badanah).'
