English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abdullah — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the fear prayer [salat al-khawf] at Dhu Qarad with one rank behind him and another rank facing the enemy. He led them in one rak'ah, then gave the salam — making a total of two rak'ahs for the Prophet ﷺ and one rak'ah for each group.
