حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا يَقُولُ قُلْنَا لِابْنِ عَبَّاس
ٍ فِي الْإِقْعَاءِ عَلَى الْقَدَمَيْنِ فَقَالَ هِيَ السُّنَّةُ قَالَ فَقُلْنَا إِنَّا لَنَرَاهُ جَفَاءً بِالرِّجْلِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ هِيَ سُنَّةُ نَبِيِّكَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

طاوسا يقول قلنا لابن عباس
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Bakr and 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Tawus saying: We said to Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) about sitting on the feet (iq'a'). He said: 'It is the Sunnah.' We said: 'We consider it rough on the man's feet.' Ibn 'Abbas said: 'Rather, it is the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ.' — Meaning sitting on the feet between the two prostrations.
