حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَا

وُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اقْسِمُوا الْمَالَ بَيْنَ أَهْلِ الْفَرَائِضِ عَلَى كِتَابِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى فَمَا تَرَكَتْ الْفَرَائِضُ فَلِأَوْلَى ذَكَرٍ

English Translation
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Divide the estate among the heirs according to the Book of Allah. Whatever remains goes to the nearest male relative ('asabah).'
