English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Ammar ibn Muhammad, from al-Hajari, from Abi al-Ahwas — that 'Abdullah said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When the servant [khadim] of one of you brings him his food, let him begin with him [first] — let him feed him, or let him seat him alongside him. For he is the one who bore its heat and its smoke.'
