حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فَقَالَ وَلَق
َدْ سَمِعْتُ نَبِيَّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَجِيءُ الْمَقْتُولُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ آخِذًا رَأْسَهُ إِمَّا قَالَ بِشِمَالِهِ وَإِمَّا بِيَمِينِهِ تَشْخَبُ أَوْدَاجُهُ فِي قُبُلِ عَرْشِ الرَّحْمَنِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ سَلْ هَذَا فِيمَ قَتَلَنِي

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya ibn 'Abdullah, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd — that a man came to Ibn 'Abbas and mentioned [something]. Ibn 'Abbas said: 'I heard your Prophet (ﷺ) say: The murdered person will come on the Day of Resurrection holding his head — either in his left hand or his right hand — with his jugular veins streaming [blood] before the Throne of al-Rahman, Blessed and Exalted, saying: O Lord, ask this one why he killed me.'
