English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Muhammad ibn Ja'far, from Shu'ba, from Abi Ishaq, from Abi 'Ubayda — that 'Abdullah narrated: 'the Prophet ﷺ used to say frequently: Glory be to You, our Lord, and praise is Yours; O Allah, forgive me. When "When the victory of Allah comes, and the conquest" [Surah 110] was revealed, he said: Glory be to You, our Lord, and praise is Yours; O Allah, forgive me — You are indeed the Ever-Relenting, the Most Merciful.'
