حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ عَنْ سَلْمٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ سَ
عِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا مُسَاعَاةَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ مَنْ سَاعَى فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقَدْ أَلْحَقْتُهُ بِعَصَبَتِهِ وَمَنْ ادَّعَى وَلَدَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ رِشْدَةٍ فَلَا يَرِثُ وَلَا يُورَثُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Sa'id ibn Jubayr — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no musa'ah [extramarital relations] in Islam. Whoever engaged in musa'ah during the time of ignorance [Jahiliyyah] — I have attached [the child] to his paternal relatives ['asabah]. And whoever claims a child [as his own] outside of legitimate birth — he neither inherits nor is inherited from.'
