حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ
بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَعَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكَبِّرُ فِي كُلِّ رَفْعٍ وَوَضْعٍ وَقِيَامٍ وَقُعُودٍ وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ حَتَّى أَرَى بَيَاضَ خَدِّهِ وَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يَفْعَلَانِ ذَاكَ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Abu Kamil, from Zuhayr, from Abi Ishaq, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Aswad, from al-Aswad and 'Alqama — that 'Abdullah said: 'I saw the Prophet ﷺ say the takbir at every raising and lowering, and at every standing and sitting. He gave the salam to his right and to his left: Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah; Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah — until I could see the whiteness of his cheek. And I saw Abu Bakr and 'Umar do the same.'
