حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْرِو
بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْجِبُهُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ ثَلَاثًا وَيَسْتَغْفِرَ ثَلَاثًا

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Yahya ibn Adam, from Isra'il; and Abu Ahmad, from Isra'il — from Abi Ishaq, from 'Amr ibn Maymun, from 'Abdullah (Abu Ahmad says: from Ibn Mas'ud) — 'the Prophet ﷺ loved to make supplication three times and to seek forgiveness three times.'
