English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Husayn ibn 'Ali, from Za'ida, from Sulayman, from Shaqiq — that 'Abdullah said: 'I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he prolonged the standing until I intended something bad.' They said: 'What was it?' He said: 'I intended to sit down.'
