Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Hashimi narrated to us, Isma'il informed us, 'Amr ibn Abi 'Amr informed me, from 'Ubaydullah and Hamzah the sons of 'Abdullah ibn 'Utbah, from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud رضي الله عنه who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I will be the first to reach the Hawd (Pond). Then some men from among you will be raised and brought to me, and when I extend my hand to give them water, they will be pulled away from me. I will say: O Lord, my Companions! It will be said: You do not know what they innovated after you.'
