حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّي حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِ

يِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا نَامَ وَضَعَ يَمِينَهُ تَحْتَ خَدِّهِ وَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَجْمَعُ عِبَادَكَ

English Translation

Hujayn ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu 'Ubaydah, from 'Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) رضي الله عنه, from the Prophet ﷺ that when he would sleep, he would place his right hand under his cheek and say: 'O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants.' Three times.
