حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَيَّاشٍ الْعَامِرِيِّ عَنِ

الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ لَا يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا لِلْمَعْرِفَةِ

English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from 'Ayyash al-'Amiri, from al-Aswad ibn Hilal, from Ibn Mas'ud رضي الله عنه who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed, among the signs of the Hour is that greetings will be given only to those one knows.'
