Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ زُبَيْدٌ وَمَنْصُورٌ وَسُلَيْمَانُ أَخْبَرُونِي أَنَّهُمْ سَمِعُوا أَبَا وَائِلٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سِبَابُ الْمُسْلِمِ

فُسُوقٌ وَقِتَالُهُ كُفْرٌ قَالَ زُبَيْدٌ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي وَائِلٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَأَنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ

English Translation

'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Zubayd, Mansur, and Sulayman informed me that they heard Abu Wa'il narrating from 'Abdullah, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Insulting a Muslim is sinful transgression (fusq), and fighting him is disbelief (kufr).'
