حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ إِب

ْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ الْجَبَلَ مِنْ بَيْنِ فُرْجَتَيْ الْقَمَرِ

English Translation
Mu'ammal narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us, from Simak, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from 'Abdullah who said: 'The moon was split during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ into two halves. One half was seen above the mountain and the other half below it. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Bear witness (to this sign).'
