English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Isra'il, from Abu Ishaq, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid — that he said: 'I departed from 'Arafat with Ibn Mas'ud. When he arrived at Muzdalifa, he prayed Maghrib and 'Isha', each with adhan and iqama, with dinner in between, then slept. When someone announced that dawn had broken, he prayed Fajr. Then he said: Indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'These two prayers have been delayed from their usual time in this place. As for Maghrib — people do not arrive here until they have entered 'Isha' time. As for Fajr — this is its time [here].' Then he stood and waited. When it became light [isfara], he said: 'If the Commander of the Faithful [has good judgment], he will depart now.' And 'Abdullah had not yet finished speaking before 'Uthman departed.'
