حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَعْنٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ اخْتَلَفَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَالْأَشْعَثُ ف
َقَالَ ذَا بِعَشَرَةٍ وَقَالَ ذَا بِعِشْرِينَ قَالَ اجْعَلْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ رَجُلًا قَالَ أَنْتَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ نَفْسِكَ قَالَ أَقْضِي بِمَا قَضَى بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اخْتَلَفَ الْبَيِّعَانِ وَلَمْ تَكُنْ بَيِّنَةٌ فَالْقَوْلُ قَوْلُ الْبَائِعِ أَوْ يَتَرَادَّانِ الْبَيْعَ

English Translation
'Abdullah said: I read upon my father. 'Umar ibn Sa'd Abu Dawud narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Ma'n, from al-Qasim who said: ''Abdullah and al-Ash'ath disagreed. Al-Ash'ath said: He ruled in my favor. 'Abdullah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Whoever swears an oath to acquire the property of a Muslim, he will meet Allah while He is angry with him. Then al-Ash'ath said: Regarding me this was revealed: {Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their oaths for a small price} [Al 'Imran 3:77].'
