حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَنْبَأَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللّ

َهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ نَصِيبًا لَهُ فِي مَمْلُوكٍ كُلِّفَ أَنْ يُتِمَّ عِتْقَهُ بِقِيمَةِ عَدْلٍ

English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id informed us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنهما, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever frees his share in a jointly-owned slave, and he has enough wealth to cover the full value of the slave, then the slave shall be freed from his wealth (by paying the remaining shares to the other owners).'
